Whate are these little white mites?
Half of our kitchen, which is kept kind of clean has got loads of little white 'mite' things running around, they are as big as a pin head. What are they? How do we get rid of them? Argh! (they particularly like the coffee maker)
These mites will keep appearing. Insecticides from stores won't work.
You need to get an exterminator to come in. They hide in cracks and crevices.
You have to keep your kitchen super clean.
At night spray a little bit of pure bleach in every corner of your kitchen and under the stove, and refrigerator until you can fumigate professionally. Don;t use the pure bleach if you do not have adequate ventilation or if you have toddlers, babues, or pets around it can make them really sick.
It should not be expensive to get it fumigated if you rent the landlord may split the costs with you. Go with a company that will offer a package deal something like 100.oo first clean out (first fumigation) and then 25.00 a month for three or four months there after. These services are worth it. Living with any kind of pests can bring serious health complications later on.
If you own it don't let this get out of control to the point they will spread all over the House and then you have to 'chemically bomb' the whole house and that really gets expensive and inconvenient.
Also, use this opportunity to de-clutter your home and perhaps change the coffee maker after the clean out has been done.
