Birthday Gift Ideas for a guy who enjoys a strong, black cup of coffee, a cigarette and a starry night?
My friend loves Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Mark Lannegan. He calls them his Holy Trinity. Now the guys has every song of theirs imaginable, so music of any sort is out. He isn't really a t-shirt wearing guy so merch is out. I don't really want to buy him cigarettes, as he means more to me than that. He prefers diner coffee to anything fancy so a gift card is out too. His birthday is in 2 days, although ordering something and it arriving post-birthday is ok. He's an intelligent man who enjoys philosophy, psychology and human studies. He's very simple in his tastes but enjoys material things.
I'm sure he would be amused at these suggested. While he's not above getting a random blow job, he's a much more classy guy than to expect something like that.
I'm not sure a personalized mug is his style.
If he likes being alone w/ these things, get him a large fluffy towel, & a tube of Astro-glide!
Otherwise, get him a coffee mug set w/ photos of his "Holy Trinity" printed on them.
